High temperature insulation materials are usually used, such as ceramic fiber, rock wool, glass wool, etc. These materials have low thermal conductivity and can effectively block heat transfer. Take ceramic fiber as an example, it is a kind of fibrous lightweight refractory material, good high temperature resistance, can be used for a long time at temperatures above 1000 ° C, and the heat insulation effect is significant, its internal fiber structure is complex, there are a lot of small air gaps, these gaps can greatly slow the conduction of heat.

Generally made of metal materials, such as carbon steel, stainless steel, etc., with enough strength and carrying capacity to support the weight of steam pipes. The size and shape of the support body will vary depending on factors such as the diameter, weight and working pressure of the pipe. For large caliber and high pressure steam pipelines, thicker and stronger metal materials are needed to make the pipe support body to ensure its stability and safety.

Some heat insulation pipe brackets will be set between the heat insulation layer and the main body of the pipe bracket, often using flexible materials, such as rubber, asbestos rubber sheet. Its role is to alleviate the friction and vibration between the pipe and the pipe support, but also to further enhance the heat insulation effect, fill the small gap that may exist between the heat insulation layer and the pipe support body, and reduce the heat transfer through these gaps.
