Q: Precautions during installation?
A: The key to installing the 2 Bolt Pipe Clamp and Double Bolt Pipe Clamp is to tighten the two bolts diagonally and simultaneously, using a torque wrench to ensure even force distribution. Avoid fully tightening one side before tightening the other, as this may cause the clamp to skew and the pipe to be subjected to uneven pressure.
Q: How to choose between double-bolt and triple-bolt pipe clamps?
A: Double-bolt clamps are used for conventional fixing (without strong vibration/impact), such as building water pipes and air ducts; triple-bolt clamps are used for critical heavy-duty or high-vibration pipe sections, such as pump outlet pipes. Double-bolt clamps are approximately 30-40% cheaper.
Q: Can it be used for vibrating pipes?
A: It can be used in environments with slight intermittent vibration. Models with locking nuts and rubber vibration damping pads are recommended. For continuous strong vibration (such as compressor outlets), upgrading to a triple-bolt pipe clamp is recommended.
