Zhejiang Petrochemical Yushan Island Project

Zhejiang Petrochemical's 40 million tons/year integrated refining and chemical project at the Zhoushan Green Petrochemical Base (located on Xiaoyushan Island and its surrounding reclamation area in Daishan County, Zhoushan City) is designed to implement national strategies such as the Yangtze River Economic Belt and the Belt and Road Initiative, develop and build the Zhejiang Zhoushan Archipelago New Area, enhance the international competitiveness of Zhejiang Province and the domestic petrochemical industry, promote structural adjustments in the domestic petrochemical industry and refined oil market, increase production of chemicals and reduce oil products, enhance the supply of basic petrochemical raw materials such as aromatics and olefins, expand private capital investment, and build the Zhoushan petrochemical base into a "private, green, international, trillion-yuan, and flagship" project.
